First Timer Convention Scholarship Application

First Timer Program Guidelines

This program helps new MCB members attend their first MCB convention — a wonderful opportunity to learn about MCB programs, meet other visually impaired individuals, and get more involved.

Award includes:

• Three nights lodging at the convention hotel
• Transportation cost to and from the convention
• Three meals Friday, two meals Saturday plus the banquet, and one meal Sunday

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be a Missouri resident
• Must be legally blind
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must not have previously attended an MCB convention

The Membership Committee awards up to four First Timer scholarships per convention. Recipients arrange their own transportation to and from the convention.
