Rep. Henry Waxman's office is now open and accepting calls from the public. Please call his office to urge him as Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce to hold a hearing on H.R.734, Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act of 2009. With at least 210 cosponsors of this critically important legislation, it is imperative that this issue be brought to the full committee's attention through a hearing. The safety and independence of millions of pedestrians who are blind or visually impaired rests with Rep. Waxman. Please make his office aware of this fact.
