[Missouri-l] This week's board meeting.

Here is a synopsis of the board teleconference call this past Monday
evening.

 

The board approved the job description for the administrative assistant.

We discussed the possibility of MCB co-signing a lease agreement on a thrift
store building.  No decision was made.

The board heard a report from our treasurer, William Hawkins on accounting
procedures in the office and will be addressing those in the very near
future.

The board approved Mike Keller as the thrift store chairperson.  This
committee will act as a liaison between the Encore thrift store board and
MCB.

The board also approved an increase for the membership committee budget line
to $6,000.00

We heard a report from Chip Hailey on the status of the blind pension
lawsuit.  Chip should be sending out a report to the list very soon.

The board voted to donate $500.00 to the beeper ball team in St. Louis for
travel to a tournament in Chicago.

In the closed session the board voted to set the administrative assistant
salary at between $14.00 and $17.00 per hour depending on experience and
qualifications.

The board also voted to give our clerk a $2.00 an hour raise.

 

I'm pretty sure that is all of the business we conducted.  I apologize if I
