[Missouri-l] MCB Connect

I want to say thanks  to everyone that participated in the MCB Connect last
Monday night.  I thought the conference call went very well and judging from
the emails I received and the comments made everyone else did also.  A
special thanks to Gary Wunder and the other members of NFB for joining us.
Everyone that participated in the call was very professional and offered a
lot of good input.

                We hope to work with NFB on several issues that affects all
visually impaired residents of Missouri beginning with the textbook
accessibility, the medicaid provision for hearing aids, the pedestrian
safety act and the blindness skills specialist.  We also hope to keep this
dialog open with communication between the two organizations as we work on
these issues and other items that may come up.

 

Thanks again to all of the MCB and NFB members that helped to make this MCB
Connect a success.
