FYI,

 

Blank cartridges are no longer available from Independent Living Aids and they are not planning on restocking their supply.  However, the American Printing House for the Blind has ordered blank cartridges for resale.  The cost and date of availability has yet to be determined, and as soon as that information is available I will distribute it by this listserv.  I anticipate this will be in the near future.

 

Of course, as part of our Show-Me Downloads program, Wolfner Library is offers Missourians a 1 or 2GB blank cartridge and a cable to download digital books for the new digital player to use BARD.

 

Since all new NLS digital players will play downloaded books, why wait for the postal service to deliver your talking books? Download books 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from BARD!
