[Missouri-l] a word of explanation

I want to explain exactly how it works with regard to downloading Books And
Beyond shows.
The show runs every Saturday night and all day Sunday on www.ACBRadio.org on
the mainstream channel. Sometime every Sunday morning I put out a sendspace
link for those who would rather download it and hear it at their leisure.
The file stays on sendspace for 3 days after the last download. Let me make
that perfectly clear. I don't mean for just 3 days. I have a max account
which allows me to see the number of downloads and when the last one
occurred. When I see that the last download occurred 3 days ago, I figure
everyone who wanted it has gotten it, so I take it down.
You can also call my philmore box at 773-572-3166 and hear any of the last 8
shows by simply selecting from the menu on the greeting. The oldest show is
removed each week and replaced with the latest show.
If someone writes to me and says that, for whatever reason, they couldn't
get the show while it was on sendspace, I may consider get them a philmore
link. One of the nice features of the philmore system is that both messages
and greetings can be emailed to the owner of the box as downloadable links.
The files come from philmore as wav files, and they may sound a bit
telephonic, but they're perfectly listenable.
We also have someone on the team who will, occasionally, make a cd copy of a
show and mail it to someone. I don't mind working with people with
extenuating circumstances, but these are the general guidelines.
