[Missouri-l] December 2009 Member Of the Month

[Denny Huff, MCB, A Great Place To Be!]

Congratulations to December's Member of the Month winner, Edna Malone
Kenser, Southeast Missouri United Blind Club, Poplar Bluff. Edna was
nominated by Tony Pickrell.

Edna has been a member of Semo for 30 years. She and her husband joined in
1979. Edna continued after her husband died in 1982. Edna has been there for
anyone who needed help or a guide to go to camp, conventions, meetings,
fundraisers, shopping, or out to eat. One of her projects is reading to a
blind lady in her home. 

Edna has been very active in her community as well as RSVP-VAV's deputy VA
hospital and VFW. She has been an ombudsman in the nursing homes and a
single foster parent to two sisters. She is a wonderful person. God bless.
