When times get hard --- when people don't listen --- when tears come,

                         Remember Jesus. 

 

When disappointment is your bedpartner --- when fear pitches his tent in
your front yard,

         When death looms,

                    When anger singes,

                               When shames weighs heavily,

                          Remember Jesus. 

 

Remember holiness in tandem with humanity.

Remember the eyes of God that wept human tears. 

 

And, most of all, remember the descendant of David

                           Who beat the hell out of death.
