I would like to thank all of you who participated in this year's MCB Legislative Days.
Your cooperation and participation were greatly appreciated.
We could not have enjoyed the success without your diligent efforts.
I would also like to extend a big thank you to our madam Executive Director and the MCB office staff for all they did in putting together our legislative packets and folders.\
I thought Jennifer and her staff went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting with our legislative days, especially since this was her and Lowell's first year.
Thanks again to the MCB office staff for their tremendous efforts.
I would also like to thank Marty Exline for once again providing us with his legislative expertise during this year's legislative process.
Marty has become a very dear friend to MCB and we applaud him for all of his kind assistance.
Also, I can't say enough about how Karl Hirsch provided us with another great legislative breakfast.
I would also like to thank him for donating door prizes and making our visit at the Capitol most accommodating.
All in all, I thought we had a very productive couple of days in Jefferson City and will very much be looking forward to following up on our efforts.
There were however some discouraging aspects to our legislative days but we hope to correct as many of them as we possibly can to make next year's MCB Legislative Days an even greater success.
We may be calling upon many of you to get your input on how we can improve our legislative endeavors so that we can have things run more smoothly and much more efficiently.
Thank all of you again and we ask for your patient indulgence as we continue to work together to make the lives of the blind and visually impaired a much more productive and happier one.
See you all tonight on this month's MCB Connect.
