In the closing minutes of the 2009 legislative session, the House had the chance to take up HB156 to which the Senate had added a version of the Show-Me Health Coverage plan to provide health coverage to low-income adults. The Senate passed the bill by a vote of 30-4 early this afternoon, but the House adjourned without taking the bill up for consideration.

We'll be providing a wrap-up of disability-related legislation and appropriations next week.
