Subject: [leadership] FW: TUESDAY TOPICS: NEW DIRECTIONS FOR ACB RADIO

On May 1, 2009 Larry Turnbull took over as Director of ACB Radio. He
had previously been director of the interactive section but has now
become leader of the whole operation. It is significant to note that he
is undertaking this awesome responsibility without pay since the salary
for this position was one of the casualties of this year's ACB budget.
Whatever his compensation is, he must now oversee five streams, juggle
schedules, recruit and train personnel and keeper the servers happy. He
must do all these things and his day job which involves computer
programming for a large human resources firm. How does he plan to
handle the work? What does he have in mind for ACB Radio? How can all
of us help? What does the future hold?

I hope you will join us at a little before nine to test mikes for a
discussion with ACB Radio's new manager and to share your ideas with us.
We will meet in the Politics Room on Tuesday, May 12th at a little
before nine PM Eastern Daylight time. Now here are some more
instructions on how to get to us and what to do when you find us.

Using a web browser, go to
http://www.conference321.com/masteradmin/room.asp?id=rs510b693fb11f to
enter the Politics Room.

There you must either download a small application if this is your first
time there, or go on to enter the room. The next screen has a spot for
you to input your real name and a password. Ignore the password. Just
enter your name and press enter.

The new room looks a lot different from the old one. Please take some
time and explore particularly the help menu and its accessibility
submenu.

If you cannot join us tonight, please listen starting next Monday at
8:00 p.m. eastern to hear this program on the mainstream channel of
ACBRADIO.
