Diabetes in Action

Are you or a loved one diabetic?  Then you are invited to the 
Diabetes In
Action (DIA) workshop on July 5 from 2:00PM-4:00PM at the annual 
ACB
convention in Orlando, Florida.

We will have an expert, Dr.  Edwin Lee, director the Orlando 
Endocrinology
Center, speaking on diabetes and new happenings in the diabetic 
world.  Also
speaking will be Pat Wolf on the history of her over 64 years of 
dealing
with diabetes.  We will also have someone from the company which 
makes
talking prescription bottles there to demonstrate with a new 
wonderful way
to keep your medications in order.



Our business meeting will be held on Wednesday, July8.  If you 
are
interested in joining us, you will be very welcome.  Our fun 
annual mixer
will be held Thursday evening at 9:00PM.  Goodies for diabetics 
will be
available, many being donated by Bay Area Digital, a San 
Francisco company.

The convention will be a great time to join our growing 
affiliate.  Dues are
only $10.00 and you will be eligible to receive our quarterly 
magazine, be
part of our monthly phone line and eligible to run for a position 
on our
board!



Also, we are again selling our raffle tickets for only $1.00 each 
or 6 for
$5.00.  Prizes are $100.00, $75.00 or $50.00.  Winner need not be 
present to
win.  The drawing will be at our Thursday evening mixer



We will be happy to meet you at any or all of our functions!
