With the Summer providing heat and storms to a large part of the
country,
Congress is facing the same sort of heat and general instability
in its own
atmosphere.

With healthcare reform and other controversial issues on the
docket for the
next few months, the political landscape is changing on a weekly
basis.

I encourage you to attend and participate at the Legislative
Seminar at
national convention. There is much advocacy to be done in
areas that mean
a great deal to ACB.

The topics we will cover include but aren't limited to:
Healthcare Reform,
The Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility
Act, The
Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act, and how you can effectively
advocate for
each of these issues with your members of Congress in this
turbulent
environment.

The Legislative Seminar will be held on Tuesday evening July 7,
from 5:00
to 7:00 in Salon 8. I hope to see you there!

Best Regards,

Eric
