Thought folks would be interested to know the new version of the IPhone coming out next week is shipped with voice over installed. You can literally walk in to your Apple store, buy an IPhone off the shelf, take it home and use it yourself with out having to buy expensive 3rd party software. (no mobile speak, no talx, no nothing) This extends a line of thinking that Apple seems to have where Accessibility is treated like any other feature. I think that's worth supporting personally. The fact a blind person buying a mac and Iphone spends the exact same money as a sited person and doesn't need that extra software is pretty exciting. Would be nice to see more companies think this way. I'm interested to see how it works they claim all IPhone applications are accessible, something Mobile Speak can't claim on the Pocket PC.
Anyway find me standing in line with all the other wackos at my local Apple Store!
