Dear Wolfner Library Patrons,
This Friday will mark the fifth week of Wolfner Library's
participation in the prelaunch of the NLS digital system. All 500 NLS
digital machines are in testers hands and few problems have been
reported. Last week, while I was attending the Midlands/Western
Conference in Springfield, IL, Wolfner Library was asked by NLS to
provide additional prelaunch assistance. This week the library will
receive 340 additional digital players to distribute to Missourians
willing to test the new digital players. Readers will be able to keep
the new machines for the anticipated distribution of digital talking
books in mid-July.
