    Marjorie from Minds Eye radio service asked me to get the word out about a retirement party for John Weidlich.

    Sunday, September 20 from 4:00 to 6:00 Pm.

    The location is at the Our Lady of the Snow Shrine in Belleville IL.

    They are asking each person to contribute $15.00 each to cover the cost.  There will be appetizers and a cash bar.

    John has served the blind community of St. Louis for many years hosting the popular Talk Back program on Minds Eye.  I hope that many of you will be able to go and show your appreciation for John.

    I sure hope it wasn't supposed to be a surprise!
