I appreciate Bunny sending out this information originally.  I am making an appeal to all blind and visually impaired in the St. Louis area that can take the time to volunteer.  It would be greatly appreciated.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!

 

 

EVENT:  Disaster Preparedness-

    Missouri Hospital Association Springtime Drill 

 

WHERE:  Saint Louis Area Hospitals

 

WHEN:     April 29th  8:30-11:00 a.m.

 

 

The City of Saint Louis Office on the Disabled is working to ensure that the interests of persons with disabilities are well represented in disaster preparedness planning in the St. Louis area.   To that end, we are looking for volunteers to participate as Disaster Victims in the Missouri Hospital Association's Springtime Drill. 

 

 

The following hospitals will be participating in the exercise:  

 

Barnes-Jewish West and St. Peters                       Cardinal Glennon Hospital

St. Alexius                                                                  St. Louis Children's Hospital

St. Louis University                                                   Missouri Baptist Hospital

Forest Park Hospital                                                St. Luke's Hospital

St. Mary's Hospital

 

 

Each facility will have a Volunteer Manager for the event who will assign volunteers a scripted injury or illness.  

 

To register to volunteer or for additional information, please contact the Saint Louis City Office on the Disabled at 314-622-3686.  When you register, additional information regarding the assignment will be given to you.
