Continuing Resolution 96-01

ADA Accessible Convention Hotels

Whereas, the Americans with Disabilities Act has made it possible for handicapped people to have access to many things which in the past have been denied them; and

Whereas, the Missouri Council of the Blind, an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind, is involved in the ADA; and

Whereas, some of our members have other disabilities as well as blindness:

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Missouri Council of the Blind, assembled on this 13th day of October, 1996, instruct all who plan conventions in the future to have our conventions in hotels which meet all ADA requirements.
